I have been missing in action a little bit. I have been very busy studying all there is to know about our hormones. Not only the female kind by the way, but the hormones that do everything in our body and are sometimes neglected a bit. My exam is this saturday and I finally feel that I might actually make it. It’s quite a bit to learn. And not always an easy subject as there are soooo many hormones and so many processes in our bodies that have an impact on it.

So balancing work, study and two blogs was a bit too much and you probably felt which one fell through the cracks a bit. 🙂 But things will return to normal soon. After the exam we have a trip planned. Perfect timing as I need a bit of me-time before picking things up again. As usual I always wait till the last possible moment to start diving into the books so that means almost full time study. Lol… But anyway, getting there and I might be writing a couple of hormonal balance articles going forward so stay tuned for that!

In the meantime we have to eat and I love simple and quick dishes such as this. I also felt my photography was suffering a bit from all that time spend doing other things. That picture of the soup I posted last? Not to my standard to be honest, but hey… it IS delicious and in the end that is what counts. So this salad is healthy, nutritious, quick and perfect for a quick lunch. It is on the light side, so add some protein if you want.

  • 150 gr cherry tomatoes in various colours
  • 75 gr bell pepper in small pieces (various colors if you have)
  • 75 gr pomegranate seeds
  • basil
  • radish cress


  • 2 tbsp sweet vinegar
  • 2 tbsp of olive oil
  • pepper/salt


  1. Cut the tomatoes in small pieces and the bell peppers too. Add to a bowl and mix with the pomegranate
  2. Add the basil and the radish cress
  3. Make the dressing by mixing the ingredients. taste if it needs anything else and eat straight awau!
