Whole30 – day 1b – The real start!

Whole30 day #1 _ realfood.blogAfter I messed up yesterday I was quite determined to make today a much better day. And I did. The good thing is that for the rest of the week I am working in the studio and I have an entire kitchen plus enough supplies to make a decent meal. That’s so much easier than eating out!

Since I had to be at work around 7.30 am I took some things with me and made a sweet potato scramble with tomato and eggs for breakfast.

Breakfast was a quick sweet potato scramble

Lunch was a quick tuna salad with avocado, tomatoes and lamb’s lettuce and dinner was courgetti with tomato sauce and meat balls.

All in all it was a pretty good day. The fact that my colleagues where eating sandwiches and all sorts of other stuff didn’t pose any problems. It is after all just day one and for me that is usually the easiest day of all. (with the exception of yesterday of course)

I know from experience that things will start to become less rosy after a couple of days.. 😉 But for now all is good!

What did I eat today?

  • Sweet potato scramble with two eggs and tomatoes
  • Tuna salad with avocado, tomato and lamb’s lettuce with a dressing of mayonaise and apple cider vinegar
  • Courgetti with a tomato sauce with mushrooms and meat balls.

I’m trying to determine wether I drank enough water. I think I did but I haven’t really paid attention to that. I usually drink a bottle at least and some extra glasses during the day. Will pay better attention tomorrow!

On to day 2!
